Martha Durkee-Neuman

Martha Durkee-Neuman (she/her) is a Unitarian Universalist ministerial candidate born and raised in southern Washington State, now living in Seattle. Martha is formerly a peace and antiwar activist and community organizer in Washington DC and Boston, Massachusetts. She holds a degree in Human Services from Northeastern University and a Masters of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. Martha is a religious educator and currently serves the Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation. She organizes with an interfaith coalition of clergy in the Greater Seattle area building solidarity with Palestine. Martha is passionate about transformative justice, interfaith action, and youth leadership. She can often be found dancing, hiking in the woods, writing poetry, and occasionally conducting Zoom finger puppet theater.
