Joe Cipparone – Secretary
Joe is a trust & estate attorney practicing law in the firm of Cipparone & Zaccaro, PC, in New London, CT. Joe has both a law degree and a master’s degree in public policy studies from the University of Michigan. Joe was one of the founders of the Interdistrict School for Arts and Communications, a state-chartered middle school in New London. Joe is a member of the Southeastern Connecticut World Affairs Council and the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. Joe serves or has served on the Board of Trustees of the Old Lyme Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library, the James and Mary Shea Perpetual Fund, the Child & Family Agency, and the Eastern Connecticut Community Foundation. Joe served for 6 years as a Representative of the Second District in the Waterford Representative Town Meeting. Joe is married to Ellen Calkins and has 4 children – Peter, Charlotte, Hugh and Abigail. In 2012, Joe joined Tree of Life on a journey to Palestine and Israel with Hugh and Abigail. Joe currently serves as Secretary of the Tree of Life Educational Fund.
